Recipe: Super Easy Personal Pizza

This a very easy "pizza" recipe, that is GREAT for when you are having a casual party. The best part is that you can find everything you need in you kitchen! I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:
Sliced Bread
Sauce (about 1-2 T per slice of bread, or to taste)
Cheese (how much is desired)
OPTIONAL:
Seasons, Pineapple, Ham, Pepperoni, etc.

Preheat your oven to 375 F. Line and spray foil on a cookie sheet.  Place the bread flat on sheet. Evenly spread the amount of sauce you'd like to use on bread. Top sauce with Cheese.  Place in heated oven until the cheese is completely melted (about 5-8 minutes)
NOTE: Add whatever toppings you want, but it may increase baking time.

1/2 tsp nutmeg
3 large eggs
1/2 c oil
1 1/2 c sugar

1/4 c Chocolate syrup

OVEN: 400 F   TIME: 1 Hour   PAN: 9X5

  • Whisk together all dry ingredients except the sugar.
  • In a different bowl, cream together the remaining ingredients.
  • Slowly add the flour mix in to the sugar mixture.
  • Pour batter into a greased bread pan (9X5)
NOTE: I poured all the batter into one pan and it raised over the pan by an inch, but it thankfully did not over flow.

Recipes: Easy Bake Chips

Ingredients:
potato (I used 3 small one, but you can make however much you'd like)
oil - enough to cover potato strips
salt - to flavor (or any flavor you would like to add)

Cut the potato in to thin even strips, if you want the chips to be "crisper" cut them even thinner and bake longer. In a bowl, cover the potato strips in the oil and then place on a cookie sheet. In a pre-heated 350 F oven bake the chip until desired "crispness" or until golden brown. I baked mine for 20 minutes and then I flipped all the chips over and baked them for 10 more minutes. When the chip are done, let the chips cool down a little on a paper towel, to blot off the extra oil. After the oil has been blotted off the chips flavor with salt if desired and serve. This chips can be served warm or cold. Enjoy!

Recipe: Peanut Butter Chocolate Milkshake

This is a super easy recipe, that will give you a milkshake that tastes like a peanut butter cup. I was delighted to fine that I really liked this recipe, I was surprised because I'm not really a fan of peanut butter. So when I tasted this wonderful drink I was shocked I liked it. My sister told me I had to make more, and my mom almost took my whole drink! That made me feel really good, that I had found a milkshake my mom liked! I always try to steer clear of making drinks because I'm either very good at it or it's the worst thing to ever be created. I always love when people like what I make...it makes me feel like I've done something right. I (and my family) was very happy with this recipe. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. Chocolate Coffee Ice Cream or vanilla ice cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. chocolate liqueur
1 1/2 c. milk (use less milk for a "thicker" milkshake")
1/4 c. 10x sugar
1 T peanut butter (or to flavor)

In a blender: mix milk, ice cream, and vanilla. Add liqueur and sugar. Finally, mix in peanut butter. Mix until desired.

Recipe: Chocolate Coffee Ice Cream

So...My sister says that this recipe "has all the ingredients of healing one soul." This recipe has a good kick of coffee and a nice sweet taste of chocolate.  Now if you don't like chocolate you could always leave it out, or even if you don't like coffee you could leave it out. For this recipe you could also change the flavors. This recipe is very easy, but takes quiet some time.

Ingredients:
1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
1/4 c. melted chocolate
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. instant coffee
1/4 c. 10X sugar
1/2 tsp. chocolate liqueur

Whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Mix in the milk and chocolate. Add in coffee, vanilla, and chocolate liqueur. Mix in the sugar. When well mixed pour into airtight container, and place in freezer.   Let the ice cream set over night.

I hope enjoy this recipe! NOTE: This recipe makes about 2 1/2 c. of ice cream.

Recipe: Mom-mom's Oatmeal Drop Cookies

I use to LOVE when the holidays would roll around because my mom-mom would make these amazing oatmeal cookies. I'm not a huge fan of oatmeal cookies...or even oatmeal...but I could eat these cookies all day. These recipe does require a LOT of elbow grease, of which I do not have. That made it a little difficult mixing all the ingredients together, but I did it! I made the cookies I had missed for such a long time, and the best news is that they taste just like the ones she would make!! This made my day :) but I wasn't able to eat the cookies (which could be a good thing...) so that will have to wait for tomorrow. I hope you enjoy this wonderful recipe that I got from my grandmothers recipe box.

Ingredients:

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
2/3 c. molasses
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
a splash of vanilla
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
4 c. oatmeal
OPTIONAL:
1 c. chopped nuts or chocolate
2 c. raisins, apricots, or other dried fruits

Preset the oven to 400 F. Mix all of the ingredients together, in a big bowl. Fold in the optional ingredients. Drop about 1 to 1 1/2 T on greased cookie sheet. Leave at 3/4 of an inch between each cookie. Bake at 400 F for 8 minutes.

I hope you enjoy this wonderful recipe! I know I will surely make these over the holidays :)
